Private Tutoring
We are offering private tutoring to enhance core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science ranging from Grades 4-12. All of our instructors are highly experienced in supporting AP and IB programs. In addition to course enhancements, we also offer support in homework completion and exam studies.
Sessions are rendered in two hour blocks: $159

Interview Workshop (and Character Skills Snapshot)
We specialize in preparing students for entrance into top private schools in Ontario, such as Havergal, Branksome Hall, University of Toronto School, Upper Canada College, Crescent, and others. Our workshops build confidence in both written assessments and face-to-face or virtual interviews.

Our interview preparation teaches both the content of the interview as well as techniques.
Students are exposed to a wide range of topics in the interview preparation such as
1) Character based questions and scenarios
2) Specific questions about the student’s accomplishment, values etc.
3) Specific questions on the school, it’s community etc.
4) Current Event questions.
The goal of our interview preparation is to build confidence, help students understand the rational for the questions while maintaining accuracy and authenticity in a student’s answer.
Enriched English
Our Enriched English program for Grade 4–9 students offers tailored and differentiated curricula for small group classes. We provide formative and summative feedback and assign activities based on identified areas of improvement.
The primary goal is to help students develop self-efficacy and mastery in four key areas of language arts.

- Apply critical thinking skills to understand texts
- Identify literary devices within texts
3. Writing:
- Write a range of materials with varying lengths and purposes
- Follow a formal writing process: brainstorming, drafting, editing, peer reviewing
4. Oral Communication:
- Engage in speaking and active listening activities
- Participate in formal speeches and debates
- Develop self-efficacy and confidence in speaking skills
Key Activities:
- Essay Writing:
Differentiate between essay types: creative, persuasive, compare and contrast, cause and effect, and understand key components of each essay type
- Other Writing Activities:
Write a range of materials: newspaper articles, book reports, speeches, letters
- Novel Study:
Read a novel and complete related comprehension and writing activities
- Exploring Current Events:
Understand global events like globalization, climate change, AI, gender equality
- Leadership:
Learn about past and contemporary leaders and their attributes (Vision, Charisma, Perseverance, Integrity)
- Debate:
Deliver persuasive points on critical issues and foster an open-minded and respectful space for peers
- Spelling, Grammar, Syntax Exercises:
Develop essential spelling, grammar, and syntax knowledge and complete differentiated exercises based on improvement areas

Summer Camp in Muskoka
Young Scholars Prep Inc. is offering a luxurious summer retreat for Private School Assessment Preparation in beautiful Muskoka. The program includes:
Transportation, meals, snacks, course materials, and overnight accommodations
